Opening Doors to the Compliance Profession

Regulatory landscapes are constantly changing due to new laws, technologies, and global events. Compliance professionals must adapt quickly to new rules, risks, and expectations. This spring, RMBI students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the fast-evolving world of compliance and risk management through a career talk titled "Your Career as a Compliance Officer in a Financial Institution." The session was led by our long-time mentor, Benny To, Co-founder and Managing Director of ComplianceDirect.

From decoding the core functions of compliance and Anti-Money Laundering to understanding the diverse roles in advisory and monitoring, students deepened their understanding of the profession with a clearer picture of the career paths and opportunities in this impactful field.
