Highlights of RMBI Program Orientation 2024
We’ve been eagerly waiting, and finally, over 50 new RMBI students gathered on the beautiful HKUST campus on 30 August 2024 for the RMBI Orientation Day.
Year 1 RMBI students joined the orientation and ice-breaking activities organized by the School of Business and Management. This was followed by the RMBI Program Orientation, which included also new Year 2 students admitted via the Major Selection Exercise. Our Program Director, Prof. Ki Ling Cheung, and UG Coordinator, Prof. Jean Wang, warmly greeted the new students and shared valuable program information to help them prepare for their RMBI journey.
The highlight of the day was the RMBI Peer Mentoring Session. We’re grateful to the 26 senior RMBI students who signed up as peer mentors, and committed to helping new RMBIers adapt to university life. Special thanks to the 18 peer mentors who volunteered to meet the new RMBIers in person, showcasing their strong sense of belonging and group bonding.
The Fall term 2024-25 starts today! We wish all RMBIers a fruitful year ahead.
