Hi everyone, this is Hannah! Looking back on these four years of study, RMBI has really helped and taught me a lot. After the college entrance examination in mainland China, I chose to study in the international city Hong Kong. In my freshman year, I realized that my interest was not only in business, so I joined RMBI, and this is one of the best decisions I made in college.

Apart from the study at HKUST, I also went to the summer program of Waseda University and the winter program of Korea University. These programs allowed me to gain a better understanding of different local cultures and enhance my communication skills with people coming from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

The curriculum of RMBI exercised and improved my data analytic ability, which also played a great role in my internships in internet-related companies. During my data analytics and product-related internships at Didi and ByteDance, I learned how to better apply business intelligence to my work and improve team efficiency. Furthermore, I applied for a gap semester and took the opportunity to work as a data analyst in a Fintech startup in Hong Kong. In addition to programming, I also needed to use financial knowledge to complete the assigned tasks. Through these internships, I realized that I wanted to continue to develop my career in the data field, especially in the fintech industry.
